Aryballos corinzio proveniente da Selinunte del 500 a.C. è una terracotta smaltata e dipinta.
L’aryballos presenta un corpo quasi sferico schiacciato nel piede, un breve collo e una piccola ansa a nastro che lega il labbro alla spalla quasi in prossimità del collo. La superficie dell’aryballos presenta una decorazione libera su fondo chiaro con la presenza nelle campiture maggiori di una sirena e di un volatile colorati di porpora e verde terroso. Gli spazi non coperti dalle figure sono campiti con rosette e motivi vegetali, mentre il collo e il labbro sono decorati con motivi a goccia.

Corinthian aryballos.
The aryballos has an almost spherical body crushed in the foot, a short neck and a small ribbon handle that links the rim to the shoulder almost near the neck. The surface features a free decoration on a light-colored background with the presence in the larger sections of a siren and a bird colored in purple and an earthy green. The spaces not covered by the figures are decorated with rosettes and plant motifs, while the neck and rim are decorated with a tear-shaped motif.

Aryballe de Corinthe.
L’aryballe a un corps à peu près sphérique écrasé dans le pied, un cou court et une petite anse à bande qui relie la lèvre à l’épaule presque à proximité du cou. La surface de l’aryballe a une décoration libre sur fond clair avec la plus grande présence dans le milieu d’une sirène et un oiseau coloré en violet et vert terreux. Les espaces, pas couverts par des figures, sont peints avec des rosaces et des motifs floraux, tandis que le cou et la lèvre sont décorés avec des motifs en forme de goutte.

Korinthisches Aryballos ( kleine Vase).
Der Aryballos hat einen mit plattem Fuß fast kugelförmigen Körper, einen kurzen Hals und einen kleinen Griff mit kleinem Streifenband, das die Lippe zur Schulter in der Nähe des Halses bindet. Die Oberfläche des Aryballos hat eine Dekorierung auf klarem Hintergrund mit Grundierungen, auf denen eine Sirene und ein in grün gefärbter Vogel sind. Die nicht mit Figuren bedeckten Flächen sind durch Rosetten und Blumenmotiven grundiert, während der Hals und die Lippe mit Tropfenmotiven dekoriert sind.
